My name is Siri — I recently graduated from Amherst College, where I double majored in Biology and English and also completed two undergraduate theses in these areas. My biology thesis quantified genetic expressions of resistance in plants when infected by a fungal pathogen, and my English thesis is a critical analysis of the poetry of Reetika Vazirani and famed Indian poet Ghalib utilizing the frameworks of trauma theory.
